Hungarian Notation IS correct

Hungarian notation is a topic that will almost certainly start a bar fight at just about any nerd hangout. Its similar to the "airplane on a treadmill" discussion. I am referring to the fact that the argument almost always comes down to a basic misunderstanding  of the issue and solution.

I wont bore you (any further) on my blog, read the full write up over at the TeamPaulC web page.

  1. I totally agree with you, Paul. I didn't know it was called "Hungarian notation" but I have always used names (particularly variables) that give a clue not only to the use of the variable but also to the definition. I do it because it helps me but it could also be very helpful to anyone that needs to modify my code at some point. Course, it might be fun to set a trap for an unsuspecting programmer. I hate it when people mess with my code.
So don't mess with my code!!
